Happy Chanukah!
As we celebrate this joyous festival, we are thrilled to mark a significant milestone — 25 wonderful years of Chabad of Japan!
Our journey began back in 1999 with just $400, and through divine blessings and unwavering dedication, we have cultivated a vibrant Jewish community and infrastructure.
From our humble beginnings in Tokyo, we have launched numerous educational programs, organized family events, amazing Shabbat and Jewish holidays, and provided vital services, ensuring that every individual feels supported and welcomed.
In 2015, we proudly expanded our reach by establishing Chabad of Kyoto, which now warmly welcomes thousands of visitors from around the globe each year.
Since 2019, our Pesach Seders in Takayama have beautifully brought the spirit of tradition to many.
We are also delighted to see the growth of kosher-certified Japanese food products through Kosher Japan.
Over the years, we have witnessed incredible miracles and the flourishing of Jewish life. Currently, we are excited to be constructing two beautiful Japanese-style Mikvehs in Kyoto and Tokyo, inviting everyone to feel a part of these meaningful developments.
We are immensely grateful to Hashem and to wonderful friends like you, who are our partners in filling Japan with Torah and good deeds. Thank you for being part of this journey, and we look forward to many more years of spreading goodness and kindness in the land of the rising sun!
